Working with Pet Sitters Unlimited offers an incredible opportunity to spend time with a variety of animals,Pet sitting and dog walking, while getting exercise, meeting great people and earning supplemental income.

Pet sitting assignments range from visiting pets while their parents work or travel, to staying overnight in a  client’s home to insure the safety of their pet and home. In general we look for people that can satisfy one or more of the following types of availability:

  • Dog Walkers; Monday through Friday Midday from (10am to 4pm)
  • Pet Sitters; Every day of the week 2x's a day Between (7-9am) AND (6-9pm) or for 1x a day visits during service hours.
  • Overnight Sitters; to stay with the animals overnight typically for stays of 3 days to 3 weeks.

To work with Pet Sitters Unlimited, you will need to be crazy about pets, have experience caring for them in some capacity, and have excellent work and personal references. Trustworthiness, plenty of common sense, and an ability to follow detailed instructions are key criteria to working with us.

To be considered you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age;
  • Have your own insured, reliable vehicle; 
  • Have your own cell phone;
  • Have your own e-mail account (and home access to a computer);
  • Have excellent references and pass a formal background check; 
  • Must be able to reasonably commit to taking work for at least (1) year.


You should be aware that this type of work is customer service based and is a big responsibility…living, breathing animals will be relying on you to be a punctual, organized, competent, stable and consistent care giver. We hire individuals to meet the needs of our clients and their animals, that are loyal and willing to work hard.  If quick cash is what you’re after, this is NOT your best bet because each sitter works part-time. If animals are your passion, and you are looking for regular assignments, you’ll feel right at home with Pet Sitters Unlimited.

We constantly review application submissions and will call or email you if and when your application matches the criteria we are seeking. At that time we will review exact pay structures/rates.  If you do not hear from us right away, please be patient; we may not be hiring in your particular area at the moment.
